We work closely with government partners and are a government-licensed medical tourism company in Korea.
This means we are a legal consulting firm that recommends clients to Korean hospitals and clinics.
Due to the large number of illegal and unregistered agents recommending clients to Korean hospitals and clinics,
surgery prices are sky-high and post-operative care is poor.
Unlicensed agents serving international clients can face up to two years in prison under Korean law and a fine of US$20,000. (Source: Medical Korea)
Another important note: if a clinic or hospital accepts clients from these illegal/unlicensed agents, they will be investigated and, if caught, will have to close their business for two years.
MKS ensures that we only take clients who are licensed by the Korean government to provide medical services to international clients. You certainly don't want to entrust your face and body to someone who isn't certified and experienced.
